Upon the ground I now lay, withering, dying in my own bloodspray.
I remember everything as it lead up to this moment as if it were only yesterday,
events that lead up to this tragedy that I'm in today.
I knew at that point I was dying, everything growing dim,
transforming, changing shape, swirling and dancing all around me.
What sort of sin had I commited that was killing me now,
draining out my life, lapping up the spilt blood,
squeezing the air from my lungs.
I killed you...I remember it well,
if I could I probably would kill

For the longest of times I gazed into the heavens Looked upon their beauty in all of its glory Reached out and touched the etheral starlight
And stood beneath the pristine gaze of the moon
Yet none of it was real Not the sweet green grass that swayed gently in the soft breeze Not the changing colors of the trees as they shed their leaves Nor even the delicate moth with its beautifully painted wings
